Sound of Color

Bolton & Menk, Inc.

Artist Statement:

Wind and Sun are two of nature’s forces I have chosen to work with for this piece. The chimes give notice when a slight breeze moves through the air. The color draws the eye to the sound. It is the same concept as when you hear a bird sing and look around to see where the chirp is coming from. The next time you hear a bird sing notice that you instinctively look around to see where it is coming from. The human brain is trained to look for color and associate it with sound!
