As a transplant to Minnesota and a self-described National Park junkie, Tyler Willmore has put together a show of both plein air and studio paintings that celebrate wilderness and wildness. Like Thomas Moran, he has been inspired by the beauty of wild places and uses plein air techniques to communicate emotions captured in that exact moment in time, then brings those techniques into the studio to provoke additional experiences recalled from photographs and memory.
This event is free and open to the public. The exhibit runs July 19-August 10, and is sponsored by Diane Berge.
Location
